Roadie collects nothing.
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Roadie talks only to the services below, and only to do what you asked.
What Roadie connects to
- Your Music Assistant servers, if you add one. To browse your library, control players and stream audio.
- The Winamp Skin Museum. Only when you open it, to show and download skins. Requests identify themselves as
Roadie/<version>. - roadie.sstools.co. To check for updates. The check sends the app’s version and no system profile.
On your Mac
- Location is used only to read your Wi-Fi network’s name, so Roadie can pick the right server. It is never stored or sent.
- Music Assistant tokens are kept in your login keychain.
- Settings are stored in Roadie’s preferences (
co.sstools.roadie). - Your play queue and skin index are kept in
~/Library/Application Support/co.sstools.roadie. - Caches (skin thumbnails, the folder index and Museum previews) are kept in
~/Library/Caches/co.sstools.roadieand can be deleted at any time. - Skins you download from the Museum are saved in a
Museumfolder inside the skins folder you chose.
